The COMPANY provides various ways for you to add your personal information to their database. Light Code Healing, LLC (the “COMPANY”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website, www.robinchellis.com and the services and or goods provided there (the “SITE”). The COMPANY provides this privacy statement to explain what information is gathered during a visit to the SITE and how such information may be used.

USE OF INFORMATION

As a general policy, no personally identifiable information (“PERSONAL DATA”), such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the SITE. ANY PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE SITE MUST BE VOLUNTARILY ENTERED BY THE SUBSCRIBER.

Non-personal data is recorded by the COMPANY’S use of Google Analytics. The COMPANY uses the information collected and provided by Google Analytics to help understand where its internet searches and traffic originates from.

PERSONAL DATA is information that specifically identifies you (name, email address, ship to/bill to address, phone number) and can be used to specifically locate you from within the COMPANY’S database and or filing system.

The SITE’S various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, contests, registration forms, and surveys may request that you give the COMPANY contact information such as your

Information submitted at the time of submission will be used by the COMPANY to:

PERSONAL DATA submitted voluntarily by the SUBSCRIBER is held:

  • Within the COMPANY’S Email SITE and database;
  • Until the SUBSCRIBER requests to be unsubscribed and or up to two years from the time of submitting, whichever comes sooner;
  • The COMPANY will ask SUBSCRIBER every two years if he or she wants to continue as a SUBSCRIBER to the COMPANY

LEGAL BASIS FOR USE OF INFORMATION

The COMPANY is legally processing SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA based on the following:

  • The SUBSCRIBER has given his or her explicit and voluntary consent to the COMPANY; and or
  • The COMPANY has a legitimate interest to process SUBSCRIBER’S PERSONAL DATA;

USE TO THIRD PARTIES

PERSONAL DATA is never sold, leased, or shared with any third parties. A third party is a COMPANY outside of the SUBSCRIBER - COMPANY relationship.

This web site and/or the products and/or services offered herein may direct you to web sites that are owned and/or controlled by third parties. We have no control over those third parties and are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those sites or companies.

To effectively run our business we may use any of the following third party Sub Processors in various data processing capacities:

  • Active Campaign, SamCart, ThriveCart, LeadPages, MemberVault, Acuity Scheduling, Google suite of products, Survey Planet, Zoom Video

CONTACT FORMS, WEB FORMS, ORDER FORMS AND EMAIL LINKS. Should you choose to contact us using a contact form, web form, or an order form on our website, or through a posted email link like this one, the data will be passed to us via email.  Our email servers are protected by SMTP encryption, however not all mail servers are secure. We would suggest that you always consider email as an insecure medium and not include personal, confidential or sensitive information within an email.

PAYMENT PROCESSING. We currently use SamCart u0026amp; ThriveCart, a third party online payment processor, to process all payments made to us. Our gateway is Stripe or PayPal. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. All such information is provided directly to our third party processor, whose use of your personal information is governed by their data security policy. 

EMAIL LIST. If you choose to sign up for our email list, the name and email address you submit to us will be forwarded to Active Campaign, my email marketing services provider. I consider Active Campaign to be a third party data processor as described below. Your information will remain within Active Campaign’s database for as long as I continue to use that service for email marketing, or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email message that I send you or by requesting removal via email.  Minors under 18 years of age must obtain parental consent before joining our email newsletter. While your email address remains within the Active Campaign database, you will receive regular emails from us about our products and services.

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES. Our service may include interfaces that allow you to connect with social networking sites (each an “SNS”). If you connect to a SNS through our service, your data may be accessed, used and stored based on your settings on that SNS. We may access, use and store that information in accordance with this policy. You can revoke our access to the information you provide in this way at any time by amending the appropriate settings from within your account settings on the applicable SNS.

SCHEDULING. When you schedule an appointment with Light Code Healing, LLC, I utilize a third-party system, Acuity Scheduling. Required information varies depending on the form and, at a minimum, includes (i) name (ii) e-mail address and (iii) phone number. The provision of this information is mandatory in order to book an appointment with Light Code Healing, LLC. A user also has the option to connect their online calendar with Acuity Scheduling.

SURVEYS. On occasion, I survey clients to understand how I have and can continue to best assist them. Responding to these surveys is entirely optional. The online survey platform currently used is SurveyPlanet.

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES. Our service may include interfaces that allow you to connect with social networking sites (each an “SNS”). If you connect to a SNS through our service, your data may be accessed, used and stored based on your settings on that SNS. We may access, use and store that information in accordance with this policy. All credit card information is handled by Stripe and PayPal.

USE LEGAL OBLIGATIONS

The COMPANY may disclose SUBSCRIBER information in special cases when required by legal and or law enforcement and only when required by law.

If the COMPANY has reasonable reason(s) to believe that disclosing PERSONAL DATA held by the COMPANY is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with the COMPANY’S rights or property, other users of the SITE, and or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities, then the COMPANY will work with the appropriate and legitimate law enforcement and or legal authorities to make sure that the PERSONAL DATA is handled in accordance with the applicable laws.

SUBSCRIBERS RIGHTS - Your rights

  • The right to unsubscribe at any time (withdraw consent)

PROFILING PERSONAL DATA

Profiling means any form of automated processing of PERSONAL DATA consisting of the use of PERSONAL DATA to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a SUBSCRIBER, in particular to analyze or predict aspects concerning that SUBSCRIBER’S performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location or movements;

The COMPANY DOES NOT ENGAGE IN ANY SORT OF PROFILING OF ITS SUBSCRIBERS BASED ON PERSONAL DATA.

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13

The COMPANY recognizes the special obligation to protect PERSONAL DATA obtained from children age 13 and under.

IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO THE COMPANY.

If the COMPANY discovers that a child age 13 or younger has signed up on the SITE and or provided the COMPANY with PERSONAL DATA, the COMPANY will delete that child’s PERSONAL DATA from our records.

The COMPANY nonetheless encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:
